This policy explains how Riverport Business Club uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and the choices you have.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They are often used to remember your settings, keep you logged in or track what you do across different websites. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way.
Our Approach
We keep things simple. This website does not set any advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and we do not use cookies to follow you around the web or build a profile of you.
That is why you will not see a cookie banner asking you to accept or reject cookies when you visit.
Cookie-Free Analytics
To understand how the website is used, we use Plausible Analytics (opens in a new tab) instead of tools such as Google Analytics. Plausible is a privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics service that:
- does not use cookies or store anything on your device
- does not collect personal information or identify individual visitors
- only reports overall totals, such as page views and the websites visitors came from
- is designed to comply with UK and EU privacy law, including the GDPR and PECR
More detail is in our privacy policy.
Third-Party Content
A small number of features load content from other providers. We do not control these services, and they may use cookies or collect technical information such as your IP address under their own policies:
- Google Maps - the map on our Contact page is provided by Google, which may set cookies when the map loads. See Google’s cookie policy (opens in a new tab).
- Google Fonts and Font Awesome - used to display the text styles and icons on the site. These do not set cookies.
Links to other websites, such as Eventbrite, member websites and our Instagram, YouTube and Facebook pages, take you to sites with their own cookie policies.
Managing Cookies
You can choose to block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Each browser explains how to do this in its help pages, and the ICO’s guide to cookies (opens in a new tab) is a good place to start. Blocking cookies will not stop this website working.
Changes and Contact
If we ever change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top.
If you have any questions, email us at Show email address.
